What Are Cosmic Stats?
Every NFTree can have four unique cosmic stats that define its strengths and abilities. These stats are stored permanently on the blockchain and provide bonuses across all NFTrees games. Each game uses the stats differently!
Resilience
Your tree's ability to weather devastating setbacks and recover from losses.
Cosmic Grove: Better survival when Cosmic Storms sweep across grid rows or columns.
Cosmic Mines: Refund a % of your bet when you hit a mine. Higher tiers refund up to 5%.
Adaptation
How quickly your tree adapts to shift conditions in its favor.
Cosmic Grove: Helps survive Solar Flares that erupt in a 3×3 area around a random point.
Cosmic Mines: Chance to reduce the number of mines from 5 to 4, improving your odds.
Fortification
Your tree's structural integrity and ability to amplify rewards.
Cosmic Grove: Helps resist the pull of Gravity Wells created by UFOs targeting adjacent cells.
Cosmic Mines: Boosts your payout multiplier when selecting 5 or more tiles.
Cosmic Luck
Pure cosmic fortune that enhances your winnings across all games.
Cosmic Grove: Dodge Asteroid Strikes that directly target random survivors.
Cosmic Mines: Bonus % added to your win payout.
How to Unlock Stats
Unlocking stats is simple and can be done directly from the NFTree gallery. Here's how it works:
Connect Wallet
Connect your wallet to view your NFTree collection.
Select Your Tree
Click on any NFTree in your gallery to open its details.
Pay & Commit
Pay the unlock cost to commit your roll. The blockchain locks in randomness for provably fair results.
Reveal Stats
After a few seconds, a second transaction reveals your stats. This two-step process ensures no one can predict or manipulate the outcome.
SEED tokens are permanently burned when used for unlocking or rerolling. This creates deflationary pressure on the token supply.
kUSD payments go to the development team to support ongoing development and maintenance of the NFTrees ecosystem.
Rerolling Stats
Not happy with a particular stat? You can reroll individual stats to try for a better value!
Each stat can be rerolled independently
Two transactions secure your roll: commit (pay) then reveal (get new value)
Blockchain-secured randomness ensures provably fair results
Floor protection: new value won't drop more than 20 points below current
Each reroll costs SEED or kUSD tokens
There may be a maximum number of rerolls per NFT
To protect your investment, rerolling has a floor protection mechanism:
- Minimum possible new value: 45
- Maximum possible new value: 100
- You can never drop to 0 from a high stat!
Target Low Stats
Reroll your lowest stats first — they have the most room to improve and floor protection limits your downside.
Chase Rarity Thresholds
If you're close to a rarity tier threshold, targeted rerolls can push you over the edge.
Balance Matters
Balanced stats give you an edge across multiple games. In Cosmic Grove, your average stat matters for Supernovas. In Cosmic Mines, each stat provides a different bonus.
Know When to Stop
High stats (80+) are risky to reroll — you might not improve much and floor protection only goes so far.
Rarity Tiers
Your total stat points (sum of all 4 stats, max 400) determine your NFTree's rarity tier. Higher rarity trees get special visual effects in the gallery and bonus payouts in games!

- Uncommon: Subtle glow effect

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I unlock stats for any NFTree?
Yes! Any Kalijo NFTree can have its stats unlocked. You just need to own the NFT and have enough SEED or kUSD tokens to pay the unlock cost.
Are stats stored on-chain?
Yes! All stats are stored permanently on the Zilliqa blockchain in the NFTreeStats smart contract. They persist even if you transfer the NFT.
What happens to my stats if I sell my NFTree?
Stats stay with the NFT! The new owner will inherit all the cosmic stats you've unlocked and rerolled.
Is there a limit to how many times I can reroll?
A maximum number of 10 rerolls per NFT.
Do I need stats to play games?
It depends on the game. Cosmic Grove requires unlocked stats to enter. Cosmic Mines can be played without stats, but having them gives you significant bonuses like loss refunds, reduced mines, multiplier boosts, and payout bonuses.
Do stats work the same in every game?
Each stat provides a different bonus depending on the game. For example, Resilience helps survive storms in Cosmic Grove but provides a loss refund in Cosmic Mines. Check each stat's per-game effects above for details.
What's the best strategy for stats?
Balanced stats give you an edge across all games. If you want to chase a high rarity tier for the bonus payouts, focusing rerolls on your lowest stats is usually most efficient.
